Shrine Bowl leaves mark on Fisher
Shrine Bowl week generally leaves participants with a new appreciation for the life they lead and all of the opportunities afforded them. The experience for Appalachian State commitment Graham Fisher was no different, and the senior offensive lineman reminded himself throughout the week of how well off he truly is in life.
Prior to the week long practice sessions that included two-a-days, the North and South Carolina teams were taken to the Shriner's Hospital in Greenville, S.C., where players and coaches toured the hospital, discovered the purpose of the Shrine Bowl and interacted with the children, who's lives are directly impacted by the game and mission of the Shriner's.
