Davis optimistic after camping in Madison
With a flurry of commitments coming in the wake of Wisconsin's summer camp schedule, it's apparent the 2010 class is starting to take shape and the Badger coaching staff is well on their way to producing another solid group of prospects.
During the Badgers' first three-day camp, which concluded a week ago, four known scholarship offers were extended.
The worthy participants included: Cameron Ontko, Michael Trotter, Jake Irwin and Dallas Lewallen. Irwin recently gave his verbal pledge to Bret Bielema and Lewallen did the same Wednesday afternoon.
Now, in wake of UW's final advanced camp that concluded Tuesday, a few new prospects have surfaced on Wisconsin's radar. One noted prospect is Garret Davis of Ypsilanti (Mich.) Willow Run.
Tuesday night, BadgerBlitz.com caught up with the 6-foot-3, 269-pound lineman to discuss his current recruitment and recent trip to Madison.
