INDIANA -- Our first week of Pick'em is now final. Here are the best and worst from the past weekend's results plus a look ahead at the coming weeks. It's not too late to join the fun!
Here's the quick weekly update on how things are progressing.
The link below will open an updated spreadsheet that will serve as our overall score sheet. Remember players can only pick each team once. Used teams have been highlighted in red on the scoreboard once they have been used.
Evansville Mater Dei was the overwhelming favorite of our contestants in Week 1, as all but two of them picked the Wildcats over Indianapolis Northwest. Their 21 point win over the Space Pioneers gives us an 11-way tie heading into Week 2. The other two players picked the Terre Haute South Braves, who defeated the Evansville North Huskies by 19 points. The field is definitely bunched together coming out of the gate! The team from our list with the biggest win was the Perry Central Commodores, who sailed to victory over the Tell City Marksmen, 33-0.
